Bridey Rose has recently returned home with her music love/ busines to Aotearoa. Taking her musical talents to australia at the tender age of 23 playing original and cover music. Touring and playing with as many diverse musicians and as many diverse cover songs as she could to blossom and grow her musical style and writing. Bridey Rose spent the last 15 years as a singer Songwriter in the Australian music industry fulltime. Over the years Playing all the main circuit venues, Markets, awards nights, corporate gigs, weddings. Radio stations, private functions. Eventually settling Based in darwin playing up to 7 gigs a week. Whilst still touring Australia. Having first released original music way back in 2012 were she returned home to New Zealand to record Dance Freely with her musical whanau and played this live on Good Morning New Zealand Tv.

After many years of her musical growth she has truly found her beauty and lyrical depth in her songwriting her diverse indie country blues rock sound is unique upbeat raw funky unveiling a powerfull full range ethereal vocal. comparisons to Janis Joplin, soul blues, and hill billy rock twist. Bridey Rose has been writing up a storm of songs over the past 7 years. An album called My Heart's Army  wich is being released in Singles over the last 2 years. Bridey Rose was given an amazing opportunity to tour down and go record with The infamous Paul pilsonics on the outskirts mountains of Byron Bay and at Rocking Horse studios. Paul is known for working with big name artists Angus and Julia Stone, Jeff Martin , many more you name it he's recorded them. She was also being mentored and became great freinds with Russel Thorpe Byron Bay blues fest mananger. Bridey Rose was returning home to play a summer of festivals Resolution festival, Spirit Festival and to play music honouring her late musical father who passed away during covid. She fell deeply in love with New Zealand again and couldnt leave. Parking up the tour van in australia Bridey Rose has returned to Aotearoa to finish  her album involving her musical whanau. Still working alongside her Australian contacts/producer Paul pilsonics. My Heart's Army songs are vamping up for her latest release on March 7th for New Single Combustion of Love.
